KenSAP helps high-achieving, low-income Kenyan high school graduates gain admission to the most selective colleges and universities in North America, all with full financial aid. Since its founding in 2004, the organization has placed 275 students at the institutions listed below.

While guiding its students through the admissions process, KenSAP also prepares them for American campus life, both academically and culturally, and later provides counsel and support throughout the students’ undergraduate careers and beyond.

IMPACT At the most basic level, the financial aid granted to KenSAP's 275 undergraduates represents more than $80 million in educational aid to Kenya. The program's societal impact is more difficult to calculate, but with more than half of KenSAP's graduates having already brought their skills back home to work in Kenyan companies, multinationals and NGOs, and with many of the rest pursuing graduate degrees (including 18 PhD.s), it seems reasonable to expect that KenSAP's superbly educated young leaders will exert a profound effect on the future of their country and continent.
